This seminar defines the different methods of taking title, how it affects client’s estate, and the basic understanding of a corporation’s ability to buy and sell real estate. You’ll learn about the “ins” and “outs” of trusts and their ability to hold title, how to recognize legal competency, and when an incompetency issue needs to be resolved. We’ll also discuss the basics of partnerships owning real estate, when a power of attorney can or cannot be used, and the new Florida Statutes governing title insurance, In addition, we will teach you about the common pitfalls of closings and how the contract impacts the closing. 3 hours of CE credits
